There are 46 mountains in the Adirondacks over 4,000 feet high. The highest can see snowfall in 11 out of 12 months. Some Ranger Posters have climbed all 46. You’ll get your chance at climbing the highest mountains in New York, and paddling some of the wildest rivers through forests that have never been cut.  You have the chance to explore this land, and learn the skills to explore safely without leaving any trace of your passage. When you are in camp, at your own Ranger Post cabins, you can hone those skills on the climbing wall, at the rifle range, and on the water.
