Camp Log Week 2.5

Wow, we’re already in week 3 of summer camp at Woodcraft 2023!  

Our 5 week campers have jumped right in and it feels like they’ve been here since the start. It’s Wednesday at Woodcraft which means: Trip Day! Our day trippers are out hiking a local favorite, Black Bear Mountain, on this beautiful day while our Trail Campers, Auroras and Outpost and IV campers are covering ground and water on their cabin overnight trips to the High Peaks, Fulton Chain of Lakes and Blue Mountain Lake. In addition, our OLTDs set out on their own trip today to hike Cascade & Porter Mountains.

Parent’s Weekend, which also encompasses our First Session Departure & Second Session Arrival days, is coming up soon! First session departures take place on Saturday, July 22 from 10am-12pm and second session arrivals will be from 12-2pm on Sunday, July 23.  

Full session and 5 week camper parents who would like to visit may pick up their their campers between 10am and 12pm on the 22nd and must return between 12-6pm on the 23rd. If you are not able to visit, don’t fret! We will plan a great schedule with fun events for the Woodcrafters who are staying with us. Second session families: please send us your completed Camper Health Forms which are required for attendance. You can also fill out our Confidential Questionnaire to help us learn more about your camper.
