Summer Camp at Woodcraft
May 24, 2023
Our summer campers experience exciting adventures with friends AND the peace of feeling at home among uninterrupted Adirondack nature. Our lakes, fields, forests, and starry skies are theirs for the summer… and there is nothing we love more than that!
We hope our Parent Service Center has been helpful to you as you prepare for Woodcraft. There you will find health forms and a camper packing list, as well as a travel form and confidential questionnaire. Trip Gear Help from our awesome Trips Director, Henry Uzdavinis, is also listed.
If you can add a big favor to your to do list for us, it would be: Remember to add Woodcraft to the places you recommend to others! Word of Mouth is so important in helping camp to gain new campers. Woodcraft does a fantastic job retaining campers, but we do need help growing and gaining attention from new families. Thank you!
In other camp news, we are almost finished building the new ropes course additions! Spring has finally sprung at Woodcraft and the wildlife is very happy (and vocal!) about it. Particularly the many birds, toads and frogs. Our camp Golden Retriever, Sunny, has just gone through ACL surgery and after a few days of feeling mopey, she’s back to her happy self. She does have quite a big recovery ahead of her so she won’t be swimming with us right away. But we know she’ll surely make up for it once she can!
Sending a big hello to the whole family. We absolutely can’t wait to see you and your campers at Adirondack Woodcraft Camps!
