Girls from 13 to 15

AWC is a true summer camp. You’ll live in cabins with friends your age. Each age group lives in its own lodging in different sections of the camp.

You’ll have two lakes owned by the camp to use, all kinds of boats and activities, and plenty of places you will go and see. We offer horseback riding at the nearby Moose River Farm, it’s a wonderful facility open to all levels of experience with quality horses, trails, indoor and outdoor arenas and expert instruction.

You’ll stand on top of the highest mountain in New York and raft down whitewater rivers. We promise a little mud, and a lot of adventure. Auroras have their own place on the shores of our private wilderness lakes. You’ll walk a wooded path to get to your own private village. Aurora cabins sleep 4-5 campers, and there are full bathrooms with showers. You’ll take on the biggest trips our camp offers, and face fun challenges in camp.

As the oldest campers, there are chances to lead, and test yourselves, and to have a great time taking in the wild Adirondacks on overnight trips with Auroras who will become good friends.
